Clerical Student Assistant, International Student Services

• Assist staff with admissions inquiries as directed.
• Assist staff in planning and execution of new student welcome activities and new international student check-in procedures.
• Assist with monitoring student records for completeness.
• Assist with monitoring of timely transfer of archived student records to electronic repository.
• Monitor admissions files for missing documents and correspond with applicants to complete applications.
• Provide timely and considerate customer service to students in all modalities (in-person virtual telephone) Assist staff with clerical duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates experience living overseas.
• Experience working with databases.
• Demonstrates fluency in a language other than English.
• Knowledge of standard software programs including Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
• Knowledge of standard office machines including fax copier and scanner
• Experience working in office setting
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
