The Berlin-Boylston Regional School District is seeking a dynamic and compassionate educator to serve as the next Principal of Berlin Memorial School. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in education leadership with a specific focus on special education to ensure all students receive the support and opportunities they need to Memorial School is dedicated to fostering a safe supportive and enriching learning environment where every child can grow academically socially and emotionally. As the Principal you will play a pivotal role in shaping the schools culture leading faculty and staff and working closely with families and the broader Berlin community to ensure that our students receive the highest quality education.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Vision: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive educational program that is aligned with district goals and meets the diverse needs of all students with a strong emphasis on special education services.Student Support: Oversee the development and delivery of individualized education plans (IEPs) ensuring that students with disabilities receive appropriate support and services in accordance with state and federal regulations.Special Education Expertise: Provide guidance and oversight to special education staff ensuring best practices in inclusive education are implemented effectively to meet the academic social and emotional needs of all learners.Curriculum & Instruction: Support the teaching staff in delivering high-quality instruction with a focus on differentiated teaching strategies that cater to diverse learners.Staff Development: Foster a professional learning environment by providing regular training feedback and growth opportunities for staff to continuously improve teaching practices especially in the area of special education.Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents guardians and community members maintaining open lines of communication regarding student progress school initiatives and district developments.Safety & Well-Being: Ensure the safety health and well-being of all students fostering a positive school climate and addressing any social or behavioral concerns promptly and effectively.Collaboration: Work closely with the School Committee Superintendent and other district leaders to ensure alignment with district-wide goals and initiatives.About Berlin MA:Berlin Massachusetts is a charming and close-knit community located just outside Worcester offering an excellent quality of life with easy access to urban amenities.
