How youll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

Performs comprehensive wound assessments including wound etiology staging measurements and documentation.
Develops and implements individualized wound care treatment plans using evidence-based practice.
Provides advanced wound care interventions such as specialty dressings wound vac/negative pressure therapy and debridement as allowed by scope of practice.
Collaborates with physicians bedside nursing nutrition therapy and case management to support optimal wound healing.
Leads pressure injury prevention initiatives completes audits and supports facility quality goals related to wound care.
Provides ongoing wound care training education and clinical support to nursing staff.
Ensures compliance with infection prevention standards and regulatory documentation requirements.
Monitors patient progress adjusts treatment plans and participates in interdisciplinary rounds.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Other duties as requested.

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.

Additional requirements include:

Applicants should have a current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
Associates degree in Nursing required. Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
