Job Description:
The Central Sales Ops team is a cross-divisional business operations function that operationalises business architecture through the design definition and governance of policies processes and tools necessary to support our global go-to-market teams.
As a Business Operations Analyst - Contractor you will collaborate with Sales and Marketing Operations and other key stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing data in the Salesforce CRM application. You will assist sales with all lead and contact acquisition-related activities including but not limited to administrative data entry and research tasks. You will manage sales-related and organisational data tasks so the sales and marketing teams can focus on their core strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Go-to-Market Support
Support the execution of sales plays tailored to specific customer personas by researching and identifying new targets for sales using a variety of sales tools and databases ensuring prospects align with ideal customer profiles and personas.
Identify new contacts and leads for existing and new accounts for sales with a heavy focus on sales plays. Be able to understand the targeting strategy nuances and personas to create in CRM.
Data Management & Scheduling
Clean format and maintain sales databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Ensure data is formatted correctly with all required fields; understand Akamais data and the use of specific fields by different sales and marketing roles; help to clean and append data where appropriate.
Coordinate with Marketing Operations teams on scheduling data updates to minimise potential impacts on marketing automation platforms or conflicts with other scheduled jobs.
Data Analysis
Collect analyse and interpret sales data to identify trends patterns and opportunities.
Have the ability to understand personas segmentation criteria and the market to help proactively identify new contacts and leads for sales.
Reporting & Visualization
Create dashboards and reports to track and visualise sales data providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Track and manage all data requests fulfilled and make recommendations for changes or improvements (e.g. sales uploaded 20k leads/contacts that remain untouched-raise awareness to the right operational teams to address through sales workflows and processes; keep detailed records of requests for historical reference by geo region team/requester etc.).
Support Sales Teams
Analyse and respond to ad-hoc data requests from sales teams.
Assist with any ad hoc data needs from sales and work on special projects.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelors degree and 2-5 years of experience managing contact governance and data in Salesforce.
Have a deep understanding of contact management advanced MS Excel and other sales tools.
Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Be able to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with all levels of the organisation.
Have the ability to use collaboration tools like Jira Google Docs and Confluence to organise work.
Experience in working on Validity DemandTools would be an advantage.
