Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist
Schedule: this is a PRN role that will work on an as-needed basis.

How youll contribute
A Medical Technologist who excels in this role:
- Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing.
- Collects samples and analyze bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities. Collects blood and study blood samples used in transfusions
- Operates laboratory equipment in a high-quality effective manner.
- Analyzes test results for accuracy acceptability and critical limits and reports/documents results per organizational standards.
- Performs automated tests using computerized instruments & automated equipment.
- Performs manual tests based on detailed instructions from a physician.
- Runs tests and analyzes the results to be reported to the patient physician or registered nurse.
- Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment.

What were looking for
Were looking for a Medical Technologist with prior experience as required for the NV General Laboratory Supervisor License. Additionally:
- Completion of National Registry Exam for Medical Technologist (offered through ASCP or AMT) preferred.
- NV General Laboratory Supervisor License (status of application pending for up to 9 months post hire) or must have ASCP or AMT certification with CLT pending license status for up to 3 months prior to obtaining General Lab Supervisors License upon hire.
