Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Lay bricks concrete blocks stones or tiles to construct walls partitions arches chimneys and other masonry features.
Apply mortar or alternative bonding agents to secure masonry units with consistent high-quality joints.
Ensure accurate alignment of structures using levels plumb bobs and straightedges for horizontal and vertical precision.
Prepare surfaces by measuring marking layout lines and setting reference points for construction.
Mix and prepare mortar cement or grout manually or using mechanical mixers according to specifications.
Cut shape and trim masonry materials using hand tools such as hammers chisels and saws.

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in masonry construction repair or related field
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for cutting shaping and laying masonry materials
Ability to read blueprints layout plans and technical drawings
Strong understanding of mortar mixing bonding techniques and structural alignment
Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather and elevated positions
Valid ECR or ECNR passport (required for applicants)
Commitment to safety protocols and quality craftsmanship

Required Skills:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in steel production metalworking rolling mills or foundry operations Demonstrated knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and equipment operation Proven ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to recurring operational workflows Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks in a high-temperature industrial environment
