Pay Range: $45$60/hr

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at a busy radiology department in Potsdam NY. This role supports inpatient outpatient and emergency imaging needs in a Level III trauma environment. The technologist will work with FUJI fluoroscopy units portable systems U-arm equipment general x-ray rooms and C-arms for OR imaging.

Responsibilities

Perform general diagnostic x-ray exams for both adult and pediatric patients across inpatient outpatient and emergency settings.
Operate fluoroscopy systems (FUJI) Konica Minolta U-arm Siemens C-arms and portable imaging units.
Provide intraoperative imaging support for various C-arm procedures.
Conduct fluoroscopic studies including UGI SBFT barium swallow/enema joint injections and myelograms.
Manage and prioritize workflow in a high-volume Level III Trauma environment.
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards infection control protocols and patient confidentiality.
Accurately document imaging studies in EPIC and manage images via PACS.
Collaborate effectively with radiologists nurses and multidisciplinary care teams.

Required Qualifications

ARRT (R) certification
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
Experience in trauma imaging fluoroscopy and OR C-arm procedures
Strong proficiency in general imaging (chest abdomen extremities spine skull facial bones etc.)
Familiarity with PACS EPIC and Pyxis workflows
