Fitness Director Job Description
An Anytime Fitness Fitness Director (FD) is responsible for helping all members get to a healthier addition to training clients themselves theFDs ultimate responsibility is to coach the trainers to success. Coaching areas include programingsales and service. The FD alsoserves as a guidance counselor to all members of the club educator and mentor for all training staff and strategist for the Club Manager. The FDs is responsible to manage the Member Onboarding Process which includes conducting the fitness consultation determining the right combination of personnel and tools for each member and managing the retention score to ensure meaningful touch points for the lifetime of the member.
While skills in training and programming are a important the FD will function more as a customer service agent and leader. The FD must possess the knowledge skills and abilities to provide a surprisingly personable experience to all members of the club in an effort to help each individual get to a healthier place.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of personal Training Experience
- Either 3 national certifications and/or 4 year bachelors degree in a fitness related field
- Extremely positive attitude
- Superior organization and multitasking skills
- Able to work well in a fast paced environment
- Great time manager that can adapt to change
- Ability to work well under pressure and effective troubleshooter
Compensation is a combination of hourly bonus commission and personal training. Earning potential of $50000-$75000 retirement plan CEC reimbursement and medical/dental/vision insurance
