MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
ORMondayFriday 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $80$85 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment at an outpatient/ambulatory care location. The technologist will support the daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine Lab ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services in alignment with all regulatory and clinical standards.
Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using appropriate equipment and protocols
Conduct equipment quality control testing and ensure proper functioning of imaging systems
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory guidelines
Educate patients and families regarding procedures preparation and radiation safety
Maintain accurate documentation imaging records and reports
Ensure compliance with departmental policies safety standards and regulatory practices
Collaborate with physicians radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Strong understanding of nuclear imaging techniques and radiation safety principles
Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach
Education & Certifications
Associate Degree required (Bachelors Degree preferred)
ARRT Certification (Radiologic Technologist) required
NMTCB Certification (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) required
