About the Department
The department provides technical operations services across multiple business areas for offshore upstream activities contributing to safe efficient and sustainable operation maintenance modification and decommissioning of operated assets. The role is part of a competence center focused on subsea intervention offering opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with planning and execution of diving operations projects
- Participate in risk management meetings
- Follow up diving operations on-site when required
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
- Offshore travel may be required
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in diving operations
- Strong knowledge of various diving techniques and methods
- Understanding of diving medicine physiology physics and diving tables
- Basic knowledge of national and international laws and regulations governing diving
- Ability to implement and manage HSE procedures and follow internal technical requirements
- Good understanding of pressure chambers and breathing gases used in diving operations
- Familiarity with underwater tasks such as welding cutting lifting concrete construction inspection search operations and operation of hydraulic and air-powered tools
- Basic knowledge of subsea lifting techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
- Ability to communicate requirements and provide clear direction to internal and external stakeholders
