Job Summary
Description
Key responsibilities:
- Apply AI and automation tools to perform ongoing Operational Due Diligence (ODD) reviews of External Fund Managers (EFM) under the guidance of team members.
- Conduct daily monitoring of substantial shareholdings disclosures and maintain accurate records to support regulatory compliance.
- Leverage AI and data analytics to execute the annual simplified ODD for Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and Mutual Funds assisting in assessing operational risks and documenting findings.
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect process changes and best practices incorporating AI-enabled process changes and best practices for clear team guidance.
- Support process streamlining and automation by identifying inefficiencies assisting with redesign and applying tools such as VBA or AI agents to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives focusing on integrating AI into investment control and operational oversight.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration Computer Science Data Science or a related discipline. Demonstrates strong interest in risk management and control with the motivation to build a career in asset management or financial services.
- Possesses strong analytical skills an inquisitive mindset and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience or keen interest in AI automation or data analytics tools is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy quality and technology-driven solutions.
