AECOM is actively seeking a creative highly talented Water Process Engineer for full-time employment based in the Markham ON office.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Design a variety of multi-disciplinary water projects including studies engineering design design reports approvals contract administration and warranty services.
- Support the production of engineered drawings including review and approval of final design
- Perform and review engineering design calculations in support of design packages.
- Prepare detailed contract specifications including equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers and vendors.
- Consistently deliver on each project to achieve top-tier industry benchmarks for quality and overall project delivery.
- Participate in business development activities including the development of proposal submissions.
- Effectively maintain and develop healthy client relationship throughout the project execution and project close-out.
- Create a team environment that supports AECOMs Client focus where employees meet the expectations requirements and agreements of our Clients.
- Define the project quality requirements. Ensure compliance with AECOM and Client quality policies and procedures.
- Provide mentoring and technical support of junior staff.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Environmental Process Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field
- 8 years of experience working with Water infrastructure.
- Registered Professional Engineer (.) or eligible within 6-12months.
- Process engineering knowledge and application to water facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with steam and incinerator system design
- Interest/experience with Project management
- Strong organizational interpersonal problem solving and analytical skills
- Motivated team player independent organized with strong business acumen
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in common desktop packages i.e. Word Excel MS Project
