In Resources and Industry (R&I) we offer services that span the entire project life cycle. From concept to detailed design engineering and project management for execution and commissioning phases as well as decommissioning and closure of existing operations.
As a result of a significant project pipeline AECOMs Resources Industry business has an opportunity for a Associate Director Mechanical to support the successful completion of a range of major mining projects across Australia and Internationally.
What will a day in this role look like
- Work across all project phases from studies through to execution.
- Providing technical guidance to graduates and junior engineers.
- Predominately working across copper and gold resources resources projects.

For this position we would expect a Associate Director Mechanical to have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Ideally 10-15 years engineering experience in consulting or owners team project environments
- Experience in the design and specification of underground bulk materials handling systems underground and surface mine infrastructure (mine ventilation dewatering etc) and minerals processing
- Exposure to Australian and International Standards in Mining and Industrial operation
