Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an EKG Technician I - to join our highest trained and most technologically advanced Cardiology department at Clovis Community Medical Center.
As an EKG Technician I youll perform non-invasive cardiovascular tests and procedures and will ensure quality care safety and general comfort of the patient undergoing tests. Youll interact effectively with patients and medical professionals in a fast paced environment with the ability to adapt to demanding situations. Youll be someone who is patient focused compassionate and a great communicator who can convey information effectively to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience
- 1 year of experience in a EKG Technician or similarly related position required
- Experience requirement can be substituted by individuals who have successfully completed a Basic Arrhythmia or EKG/ECG course in the prior 1 year before hire or transfer into the position
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
