Job Summary

Hotel Overview: The Fairmont Heritage Place Franz Klammer Lodge ideally located in Mountain Village offers much more than a Telluride resort experience - it provides luxury living in the heart of one of the worlds most sought-after destinations. Telluride has long been hailed a top ski destination but with festivals all summer long and a myriad of outdoor activities this unique city is a year-round vacationers delight. Fairmont Heritage Place Franz Klammer Lodge is just steps from the gondola ski mountain golf course and many other outdoor activities.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Clean assigned public areas throughout hotel
- Empty trash in all public areas and clean public area restrooms
- Clean all mirrors inside of windows wipe and dust all surfaces; keeping all brass shiny
- Vacuum carpets where needed
- Assist in cleaning residences when required
- Follow departmental policies procedures and service standards
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Practices safe working techniques and is knowledgeable of all safety and emergency procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Available evenings holidays and weekends
- Previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to speak English fluently preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Frequent kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the USA. We are unable to sponsor work visas.
Starting Salary: $22.62/hr option for benefits package
