Job Summary

1. Role Overview Mercor is seeking bilingual EnglishSpanish language experts to contribute to a translation review project with a top-tier AI research organization. Experts will evaluate AI-generated Spanish content ensuring it reflects fluent natural phrasing as commonly used across Latin America. This opportunity supports the development of culturally accurate AI systems. The engagement is project-based and remote.

2. Key Responsibilities

Review and validate AI-generated Spanish translations for fluency and accuracy
Identify unnatural or awkward phrasing and provide more idiomatic alternatives
Ensure language reflects contemporary usage and norms in Latin America
Spot and correct mistranslations ambiguity or tone issues
Provide structured feedback on linguistic quality and localization

3. Ideal Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English
Familiarity with regional Spanish as spoken in Latin America
1 year of experience in translation localization or language QA
High attention to detail and fast reading comprehension
Strong communication skills for written feedback

Remote and asynchronous work from anywhere anytime
Expected commitment: 10 hours/week
Project duration: 1 months with possibility for extension

5. Compensation & Contract Terms

$2530/hour depending on experience and location
Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
Youll be classified as an independent contractor
