Job Description

• Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation including Labor Law motor vehicle accidents and slip-and-fall cases.
• Evaluate case merits analyze liability and determine case value and coverage.
• Draft pleadings motions and legal documents.
• Represent clients in court depositions arbitrations mediations and negotiations.
• Provide clear guidance and communication to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Review case facts oversee medical records and ensure timely action on all assigned cases.
• Negotiate settlements at all stages of litigation.
• Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal analysis.
• Manage deadlines court appearances and administrative tasks related to the practice.

Qualifications

• At least five years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Strong negotiation communication and client-relationship skills.
• Ability to multitask prioritize deadlines and take full ownership of cases.
• Strong research analytical thinking and legal writing abilities.
