The Role

Were looking for a technically strong Revenue Accountant to take ownership of the full order-to-cash cycle for our rapidly growing business. This role covers all revenue accounting billing and financial reporting - playing a key part in ensuring accuracy compliance and operational excellence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced detail-oriented accounting professional (5 years) who wants to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced data-rich media environment.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Rebate & Sales Commission Accounting

Ensure revenue recognition is fully compliant with FRS 102.
Maintain accurate schedules for deferred income and accrued revenue.
Validate sales orders and campaign delivery data.
Ensure compliance with multiple trade deals across key clients and partners.
Calculate and apply sales commissions accurately.

Invoicing & Debtor Management

Oversee timely preparation of invoices aligned with Salesforce/Accounting Seed data.
Manage the debtor ledger and ensure performance within DSO targets.

Financial Reporting

Own all revenue and revenue-related P&L and balance sheet GL codes within the Trial Balance.
Produce revenue and revenue-related reports for the monthly Board Pack.
Prepare revenue analysis and commentary for review by senior finance leadership.

Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements across revenue accounting and billing workflows.

Business Partnering

Work closely with Sales Campaign Delivery and Operations to support commercial and operational needs.
Escalate complex queries to the Senior Group Financial Controller when required.

What Were Looking For

Experience

Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with 5 years experience.
Background in advertising media or industries with similar commercial dynamics preferred.
Strong spreadsheet and systems skills; experience with Salesforce Accounting Seed or Datarails is a plus.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive eager to learn and motivated to develop within the finance function.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced growing business.
