Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 25 years of experience in residential plumbing construction inspection or quality control.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems installation techniques materials and local/state plumbing codes in South Carolina North Carolina or Georgia.
  • Certification: Plumbing license inspection certification or equivalent technical training preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and building plans. Proficiency in completing inspection reports using digital tools or mobile applications.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify workmanship defects code violations and performance issues before they escalate.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain inspection findings and corrective actions to contractors builders and team members.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to recommend effective solutions for non-compliant installations.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk construction sites climb ladders bend and lift up to 40 lbs as needed for inspections.
  • Work Ethic: Reliable self-motivated and able to manage multiple inspection assignments independently while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Licensing & Compliance: Must hold a valid drivers license maintain a clean driving record and comply with all safety and OSHA standards.
