Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location (on site vs remote): Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) Livingston NJ
Duration: 6 month C2H
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Define project scope goals deliverables and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates stakeholder communications and issue resolution.
- Agile Methodologies: Implement and manage Agile practices facilitating Scrum meetings and ensuring iterative progress.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with technical requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans schedules and status reports.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead project teams fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; PMP or Agile certification preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of project management experience with a focus on technical projects in software development IT or engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. JIRA Trello MS Project) and familiarity with software development methodologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Internally motivated able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
- Experience as an interface between the developers and the project owners
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions systems and processes
