Position Overview Header Combo A Welder

We are seeking an experienced Header Combo A Welder for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in Catoosa. This position includes a $500 Sign-On Bonus (paid after 60 days). The Header Combo A Welder role requires advanced TIG and Stick welding skills blueprint interpretation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Required Weld Test Header Combo A Welder

2G Back Plate Test including:

TIG Root & Hot Pass
7018 Stick Fill & Cap
Must pass 100% X-Ray

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Weld metal parts using MIG Stick or a combination of arc welding processes
Fabricate and repair headers and header subassemblies
Read and interpret drawings weld symbols and weld procedures
Remove metal using carbon arc gouging and/or plasma gouging
Position parts using overhead cranes or jib cranes
Use tape measures and perform basic math calculations
Maintain high-quality standards and follow all safety procedures

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a Header Combo A Welder or similar high-skill welder
Ability to pass all required weld tests
Strong understanding of welding symbols and fabrication standards
Ability to safely operate cranes and fabrication equipment
Must be dependable safety-focused and quality-driven

Weekend 1st Shift: FridaySaturday 5:00 AM 5:30 PM
