The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy reliability and compliance of healthcare process automation solutions and workflows. This role involves reviewing system functionality validating automated processes testing business rules monitoring performance deviations and ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong analytical capabilities domain knowledge in healthcare operations and proficiency in quality testing methodologies to support continuous improvement and error-free automation outcomes.
Develop implement and execute QA strategies and test plans for healthcare process automation systems.
Conduct functional regression and performance testing for automated workflows applications and APIs.
Validate healthcare data transactions automation rules and system logic to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Identify system defects track issues using QA tools and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
Ensure automation outputs align with regulatory standards such as HIPAA HL7 ICD CPT or equivalent healthcare norms.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actions to enhance workflow performance.
Monitor system dashboards audit logs and metrics to ensure consistent operational efficiency.
Maintain detailed QA documentation including test cases test scripts and validation reports.
Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions with stakeholders and support production deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including automation developers healthcare SMEs compliance teams and operations to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Healthcare Informatics or related discipline.
Minimum 25 years of experience in Quality Assurance preferably within the healthcare domain.
Solid understanding of healthcare processes medical coding standards or claims processing workflows.
Experience working with automation platforms RPA tools or workflow management systems is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in QA methodologies software testing and defect management tools (e.g. JIRA Selenium TestRail).
Familiarity with healthcare automation platforms or RPA tools (UiPath Automation Anywhere Blue Prism is an added advantage).
Knowledge of SQL data validation techniques and API testing tools such as Postman.
Understanding of HL7 HIPAA compliance ICD/CPT codes or EHR/EMR systems.
Required Skills:
