Job Summary
The HT Jointer will be responsible for executing hightension cable jointing termination and related installation activities in accordance with industry standards and OEM guidelines. This role ensures safe reliable and highquality jointing work essential for uninterrupted power distribution and project execution.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of handson experience as an HT Jointer.
Qualification: ITI in Electrical or relevant trade.
Mandatory Certification: Valid 3M / Raychem HT Cable Jointing Certification.
Key Responsibilities
Perform HT cable jointing termination and endsealing for various voltage classes as per project requirements.
Ensure all jointing work complies with OEM standards (3M/Raychem) and statutory safety norms.
Conduct prejointing preparation including cable inspection measurement and surface preparation.
Execute heatshrink coldshrink and resintype jointing kits as applicable.
Perform testing and inspection of completed joints to ensure quality and reliability.
Maintain tools equipment and jointing kits in proper working condition.
Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for smooth execution of jointing activities.
Follow all electrical safety procedures PPE requirements and permittowork systems.
Maintain basic documentation such as jointing reports material usage logs and test records.
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of HT cable types jointing kits and termination methods.
Ability to interpret cable schedules drawings and installation guidelines.
Skilled in using jointing tools testing instruments and safety equipment.
Attention to detail and commitment to highquality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or under supervision at project sites.
