Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epic Cupid Implementation Analyst to support a full Epic implementation for a large healthcare organization. This consultant will serve as the primary/lead analyst for the Cupid cardiology module responsible for the design build testing activation and stabilization of both invasive and non-invasive cardiology workflows.
The ideal candidate has successfully completed at least one full Epic implementation as a primary or lead Cupid analyst with demonstrated experience supporting complex cardiology clinical and diagnostic workflows including cath lab EP lab echo and EKG.
This is a fully remote contract role with limited anticipated travel to Tennessee for milestone activities such as workflow validation sessions integrated testing dress rehearsals and go-live command center support.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary analyst for Epic Cupid throughout the full implementation lifecycle.
Lead workflow discovery and design sessions with cardiology physicians nursing technologists and operational leadership.
Translate complex cardiology clinical workflows into Epic-based electronic documentation scheduling imaging integration and clinical reporting solutions.
Build and configure Cupid templates and workflows for:
Invasive cardiology (Cath Lab EP Lab)
Non-invasive cardiology (Echo Stress Testing EKG)
Structured reporting and procedure documentation
Device documentation and follow-up workflows
Coordinate closely with Radiant Ambulatory Cadence and Orders/ClinDoc teams to ensure seamless end-to-end cardiology workflows.
Support imaging and device integrations including hemodynamic monitoring systems and third-party cardiology reporting tools.
Develop and execute unit testing integrated testing and UAT scenarios for all cardiology service line workflows.
Assist with data conversion of legacy cardiology dictionaries templates and historical reporting where applicable.
Develop training materials and support provider and staff training activities.
Participate in go-live readiness activities activation support and post-go-live stabilization.
Provide command center support and issue resolution related to cardiology workflows.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including workflow maps build documents and testing results.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Epic Cupid certification active or previously certified.
Completion of at least one full Epic implementation as a primary or lead Cupid analyst.
5 years of Epic cardiology implementation or application support experience.
Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of cardiology operations and clinical documentation workflows.
Experience supporting invasive and non-invasive cardiology services.
Ability to work independently in a remote project environment with strong time-management skills.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills for clinician-led workflow mapping build validation and training sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with integrated workflows involving:
Epic Cupid and Radiant imaging modules
Epic Cadence scheduling and procedure coordination
Ambulatory and inpatient cardiology workflows
Structured reporting and device documentation
Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring system integrations.
Participation in go-live command center leadership.
Experience with large or multi-facility cardiology implementations.
Knowledge of cardiology reporting and analytics metric development workflows.
Required Skills:
