Job Summary

Position Summary:
The Sr. Marketing Manager leads the proposal development process for a growing design-build firm. This role manages proposals from start to finish ensuring high-quality compliant and compelling submissions. The position requires strong writing organization and leadership skills along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and mentor junior marketing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full proposal lifecyclefrom kickoff to final submission.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and develop content.

  • Write and edit technical and marketing content for proposals presentations and collateral.

  • Apply proposal best practices (e.g. Shipley method) to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Prepare qualifications packages SF330s design-build proposals and interview materials.

  • Maintain and update marketing content including resumes project descriptions and templates.

  • Track proposal deadlines maintain a proposal database and manage task assignments.

  • Support marketing initiatives such as award submissions events and branded materials.

  • Assist with client development and pursuit strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications English Business or related field.

  • Experience:7 years in proposal management within the A/E/C industry.

  • Federal Proposal Experience:Required (SF330 design-build construction formats).

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong writing editing and communication skills.

  • Proven success managing complex proposals under tight deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop).

  • Ability to lead teams mentor staff and present to clients and leadership.
