Principle Responsibilities

Capture review and validate clients environmental data for accuracy; produce resulting progress reports assessing progress against environmental performance targets

Support queries for third-party review of documentation and data

Lead clients response during external ISO 14001 EMS & ISO 14064 data verification audits

Support Clients Environmental Team during internal and external ISO 14001 site audits

Develop management status reports for ad-hoc initiatives

Elicit document and communicate sustainability requirements processes and procedures in accordance with established standards

Create marketing and communications materials for internal and external publication

Compile program dashboard and related materials for ad-hoc senior management regional meetings on strategic topics

Help coordinate plan and execute events workshops or trainings for sites or end-users

Complete required monthly quarterly and annual reporting

Manage clients regional waste program including monthly waste metrics reporting supporting onsite waste program assessments of clients facilities and ad hoc offsite audits of clients waste vendors facilities

Participate in client meetings and workshops and maintain required documentation

Serve as data lead for a number of ongoing projects including expansion of regional Environmental Management System RE 100 renewable energy execution strategy and NYC Carbon Challenge

Gather review and track environmental data from Corporate Real Estate construction projects with CRE project managers

Research new and innovative technologies to assist in achieving GHG emission reduction goals

Represent C&W with professionalism and cooperate with other C&W personnel to achieve goals and objectives as to quality service cost and profit

Strive constantly to improve skill and work knowledge; keep up to date in the field of specialization

Adhere to corporate building and client policies and procedures

Support the onboarding of new buildings into the clients environmental management portfolio

Be an active participant in the broader Cushman & Wakefield sustainability professionals network and represent your colleagues on global sustainability team meetings

Minimum Qualifications

4-year Bachelors degree or international equivalent

Education or experience within the real estate or sustainability industry

3-5 years professional experience

Flexibility to travel to offices throughout the tri-state area

Required Skills

The position will require a demonstrated passion for environmental sustainability and a keen eye for detail

Ability to interact with client and client employees senior management staff and suppliers as a professional at all times

Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance

Excels in a team environment liaising across divisions with minimal supervision

Easily develops relationships working effectively with technical and business audiences at all levels

Proven analytical and problem solving capabilities

Fluent in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word applications

Familiarity with database programs comfortable mining and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources

Ability to independently plan and manage deliverables for multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines

Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Proactive high energy and dedicated work ethic

Strong written and presentation skills

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 66300.00 - $78000.00
