Job Summary
Job Title: Material Handling Engineer - Mining Projects
Location: Centerville UT (Hybrid Schedule)
Type: Contract (Minimum 6 Months Potential for Extension)
Our client a respected Engineering & Design firm is seeking a Material Handling Engineer to support mining-related projects in their Centerville Utah office. This is a hybrid contract role with an initial term of at least 6 months and strong potential for extension.
About the Role:
Youll work on the design and engineering of complex material handling systems for mining operations. This includes everything from conveyor and crusher design to dust collection systems. If you have a strong foundation in mechanical/material handling design-especially in mining-youll hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering of various conveyors including radial stackers feed and transfer conveyors
- Layouts for screeners vibrating grizzly feeders and hoppers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in mining or heavy industrial engineering projects
- Experience with gold mining operations is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong knowledge of material handling equipment
Hourly wage: $45-$70.
