European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. We are both a maintenance company and a cargo airline and are currently responsible for the aircraft maintenance of 32 Airbus A300-600 5 Airbus A330 32 Boeing B757 26 Boeing B767 and 24 Boeing B777 at our locations in Leipzig Frankfurt Cologne and throughout Europe.

YOUR TASKS
The Coordinator is responsible for the creation & planning of work orders for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events up to a Base Maintenance Event. The role thus performs important monitoring and planning functions for the company and contractually bound operators.
- Responsibility for continuous monitoring of all maintenance event due dates using the Maintenance Information System.
- Proactive planning and timely coordination of maintenance work for the home base in Leipzig as well as contractually managed outstations ensuring optimal use of available resources (personnel materials tools etc.).
- Adjustment and updating of existing work packages in case of operational changes (e.g. flight schedule changes AOG situations).
- Ensuring the availability of all required equipment spare parts and technical documentation in close coordination with the MOC including consideration of ground times tail-sign allocation and documentation requirements.
- Support in the compliant archiving of aircraft documents in accordance with EASA Part M (Support G M.A.714) and Part 145 A55.
- Control of the completed work packages for completeness and support with digital archiving
- Continuous monitoring of KPIs and improvement of existing processes with the help of first choice methods and tools
- Collaboration in cross-functional projects for the further development of maintenance planning processes.
- Planning and control of aircraft routing taking into account maintenance requirements economic factors and standby provision within the route network.
- Participation in and when required leading meetings in the Line Maintenance Planning area including Defect Control Board AOG Meeting Major Component Meeting and other operational meetings.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed studies or many years of relevant professional experience in aviation maintenance & repair or related planning fields.
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- User knowledge of the IT programmes Office TRAX AIMS and Netline
- High degree of planning and organisational skills
- Distinct analytical and structured way of thinking
- Motivated flexible and independent way of working
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to act efficiently even under time pressure
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
