Position Summary
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for providing take-offs using sound estimating procedures maintaining bid deadlines following note project risk assessment applying labor factors and price materials and performing value engineering in preparation for contract negotiations.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of electrical construction markets and estimating procedures
- Computer literacy with flexibility for cont. computer education
- Good customer service/negotiating skill
- A technical degree/some estimating experience OR an equivalent amount of journeyman level estimating experience in the electrical construction industry
- 2 years of hard-bid or design/build estimating experience
- Prior success experience with an electrical contractor

Travel is frequently required to and from job sites and occasionally to the office locations.
