Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA MIOSHA and Company safety standards.
- Apply paint and other coatings to various surfaces including preparing parts by cleaning sanding and repairing defects as needed.
- Inspect parts for quality including weld integrity surface imperfections and overall finish.
- Mix paints to match specified colors and operate equipment such as paint sprayers sanders and sandblasters.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts cranes etc.) and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure good housekeeping practices.
- Assist in other departments as temporarily assigned.
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training
- Prior painting experience will be given preference
- Ability to maintain tools equipment and work area
- Skill in distinguishing quality paint jobs
- Commitment to efficiency quality and safety standards
