Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to senior residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor residents health status and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents comfort and safety
- Document resident care and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility standards
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current LVN license in the state
- Prior experience in senior care or long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate patient and attentive to residents needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various scheduled shifts; PRN position with potential to lead into full-time status
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records
