Compliance Engineer - Quality & Environmental Systems (4x10 Shift)
- A Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Science Engineering etc.) is required along with 2 years of experience in a regulated or environmental compliance setting
- This role offers a desirable 4x10 (4-day) shift schedule
- Pay is up to $56000 for a highly qualified candidate
- The weekly work schedule is four days per week (Monday-Thursday) with ten-hour shifts (5:00 am - 3:00 pm with some flexibility)
- Friday/Saturday availability is needed as production dictates
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
- No remote as this is a 100% onsite position

The successful candidates duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Ensure products and processes adhere to EU regulations (primarily REACH) specifically concerning Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs)
- Determine if products exceed the 0.1% w/w threshold for SVHCs gathering necessary chemical information from procurement and the supply chain
- Conduct or coordinate laboratory testing to confirm material composition and maintain a database of compliance data gathered from vendors
- Prepare regulatory submissions update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) technical files and declarations of conformity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental compliance for new accessory partners and develop risk management strategies for SVHC replacement/phase-out
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Science Engineering etc.)
- 2 years of experience in a regulated environment or compliance engineering
- Knowledge of global environmental regulations including REACH SVHC RoHS TSCA and Prop 65
- Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Substances (BOS) review to identify potential risks
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills with experience presenting technical information
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
