Unit Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Serve as a key educator for medical students residents and fellows through Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research if desired.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with orthopaedics primary care dermatology nephrology and other specialties.

Short Description

Cooper University Health Care South Jerseys premier academic health system is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join our expanding Division of Rheumatology. This is a full-time academic and clinical position based in Camden NJ with potential for additional practice at satellite offices.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on excellence in patient care medical education and clinical research. Our division provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

License/Certification Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and academic excellence.
