About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Backup Administrator to manage and enhance enterprise backup environments. You will work with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) / Spectrum Protect Linux/AIX platforms and Bash automation within complex IT infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain backup systems based on IBM TSM / Spectrum Protect
Monitor backup jobs schedules and restore operations
Perform system administration tasks on Linux and AIX
Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation
Ensure data integrity availability and compliance
Support disaster recovery planning and execution
Analyze and improve backup performance
Document procedures configurations and incidents

Required Qualifications

Proven experience with IBM TSM / Spectrum Protect
Experience with other backup technologies (preferably NetBackup)
Strong Linux/AIX system administration skills
Proficiency in Bash scripting and automation
Solid understanding of networking storage and enterprise IT
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
