Job Summary
Location: Cork, Ireland
Salary: €222'215 - €266'925 per annum
Our geriatric medicine department is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to our elderly population.
We are seeking a skilled Consultant in Geriatric Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team and deliver expert care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert consultation and individualised care plans for elderly patients.
Manage and oversee the treatment of complex geriatric conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives.
Mentor and train junior doctors and medical staff.
Ensure patient safety and high-quality care standards.
Qualifications:
Full IMC Specialist Registration (or eligibility to register)
Specialist training in geriatric medicine.
Experience in managing complex geriatric conditions.
Commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based practice.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
