Location: Brooklyn NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 08:00 AM 04:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $40 $42 per hour
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Physical Therapist I Contractfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.
Responsibilities:
Perform initial examinations establish goals and implement treatment interventions.
Conduct timely re-examinations and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Coordinate care with other disciplines and participate in discharge planning.
Document all patient interactions including initial evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries.
Provide training and education to patients families and medical personnel.
Recommend appropriate durable medical equipment and write letters of medical necessity when required.
Attend clinics conferences rounds in-services and departmental meetings as assigned.
Supervise Rehab Patient Care Associates volunteers and students as needed.
Maintain accurate therapy attendance records patient charges and statistics.
Qualifications:
01 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Current New York State Physical Therapy License.
Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) required.
Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
