Location: New York NY 10019
Contract: 9 Weeks Evening Shift (3:00 PM11:15 PM)
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week
Pay: Local $2325/week Travel $2850/week
Note: The pay rate totally depends upon the years of experience.
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technician to support Labor & Delivery OR services in a high-acuity environment. The CST will prepare and maintain sterile fields assist surgeons and nurses during procedures manage instruments/supplies and ensure safety and compliance throughout the perioperative process.
Key Duties
Perform scrub duties prepare sterile setups and anticipate surgeon needs.
Maintain accurate instrument/sponges/needle counts.
Assist with patient positioning transfers and room turnover.
Support circulating staff with equipment supplies and documentation.
Mix and label medicated solutions under RN supervision (no narcotic handling).
Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and OSHA/PPE standards.
Requirements
CST certification (Required)
High school diploma
L&D OR experience (Required)
Strong communication stamina and ability to work under pressure
Preferred
Accredited CST training program
Prior hospital OR experience
