Unit Overview

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Physiatristto join our dynamic and growing Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality compassionate care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and contribute to the academic mission through teaching and collaboration.

We welcome general physiatrists as well as those with training or interest in the following subspecialties:

  • Neurorehabilitation
  • Pain Medicine
  • Musculoskeletal Care
  • Brain Sports and Spinal Cord Injuries
  • Postoperative Care
  • Spasticity Management
  • Electromyography
  • Hospital Consultations
  • Subacute Rehabilitation Consultations
  • Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Management

Short Description

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in teaching medical students residents and fellows.
  • Contribute to the development of subspecialty programs and services.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate.

Education Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school required.

License/Certification Requirements

Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology required.

Eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey required.
