We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Lead to join Flood and Peterson. This position will play a critical role in delivering high-quality analytics reporting and strategic insights across the organization. This position will help elevate our decision-making by transforming data into clear actionable intelligence that supports growth enhances performance visibility and strengthens our ability to serve clients.


The Data Analytics Lead will work closely with leaders across Sales Operations Risk Services and Finance to develop dashboards analyze business trends and identify opportunities that drive organizational improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping how Flood & Peterson leverages data to support its strategic priorities.


What Youll Do

  • Business Intelligence & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards scorecards and recurring reports; own monthly/quarterly business review reporting and metric definitions; leverage Pipedrive RiskMatch AMS and internal datasets to deliver insights on sales retention producer performance operations profitability and client trends; and present findings through clear visualizations and storytelling for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Analyze internal and market data to uncover growth opportunities and emerging trends; develop segmentation models (client producer industry geography) to inform strategic planning; and support business cases with forecasting revenue modeling and data-driven recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales Operations Risk Services Marketing and Finance to define KPIs gather business requirements ensure reporting meets strategic needs and provide coordination for key initiatives.
  • Data Infrastructure & Governance (Foundational Responsibilities): Oversee data quality and integration across systems (Pipedrive RiskMatch AMS etc.) collaborating with teams and vendors to maintain consistency establish standard definitions and reporting processes and promote reliable well-governed data throughout the organization.
  • Culture Building & Executive Insight: Foster a data-driven culture by delivering clear actionable analyses of trends risks and opportunities; present insights concisely to leadership translate findings into strategic recommendations and drive informed decision-making across the organization.

What You Bring

  • Education and Work Experience: 7 years of experience in analytics business intelligence data strategy or similar roles (insurance brokerage or financial services experience strongly preferred).
    • Requires a valid Colorado drivers license and an acceptable MVR.
  • Dashboard Development: Expertise in creating interactive reports using BI tools such as Power BI Tableau and Looker for clear performance visibility.
  • CRM & Insurance Systems Knowledge: Skilled in leveraging platforms like Pipedrive RiskMatch and AMS to ensure accurate data integration and reporting.
  • Communication & Presentation: Ability to translate technical findings into clear compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of revenue pipeline retention and profitability metrics to align analytics with organizational goals.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Experienced in leading projects and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful solutions on time.

    • Salary Range - Starting pay for this exempt position is $90000 - $105000 annually. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates commensurate with experience. In addition to regular pay this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program. Bonuses may be available for client and employee referrals and for successful completion of approved industry designations.
