The Opportunity:

As the Dish Lead within the Gray W in Athletics under direct supervision of the manager you will perform duties and instruct/lead student employees in the dish room and pots and pans areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in responsible areas. Additionally you are expected to contribute to a positive and harmonious work environment.

Additional Information:

This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

Monthly Salary: $3336 to $4428 Range 37 Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of or eligible for a food handlers permitANDone (1) year of experience in quantity or institutional food preparationANDserving which includes six (6) months experience directing the work of others; OR equivalent education/experience.

• Possession of or ability to obtain within 14 days of employment a Washington Food Handlers Permit.

Preferred Qualifications:

• More than six (6) months of experience leading and training employees.

• General knowledge of commercial grade kitchen equipment use safety and maintenance.

• 6 12 months of commercial ware washing experience in a large scale kitchen operation.
