We are hiring Suitably qualified people for the permanent position of Senior Physiotherapist into a Hospital in Tralee Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across a range of clinical areas.
Deliver high-quality evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to support patient recovery and functional independence.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical nursing and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Supervise mentor and support junior physiotherapists therapy assistants and students as required.
Maintain accurate timely clinical records in line with professional and hospital standards.
Participate in clinical audits quality improvement initiatives and service development projects within the physiotherapy department.
Contribute to the ongoing development of physiotherapy services by implementing best practices and supporting continuous improvement.
Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) activities to maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and skills.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies CORU standards and applicable health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Member of or eligible for membership with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).
BSc (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
Alternatively an equivalent physiotherapy qualification validated by the ISCP.
Demonstrated evidence of post-graduate training or education in Orthopaedics Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal practice (desirable).
Evidence of post-graduate training/education in Strength and Conditioning rehabilitation (desirable).
CORU registration is essential.
Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience.
