What you will do:

• Traffic analysis using industry standard traffic engineering software tools (VISSIM/Synchro/HCS/HSS/IHSDM etc.) to model and simulate traffic flow and congestion
• Traffic design using Bentley AutoCAD design software
• Traffic safety analysis
• Traffic data review and design traffic development
• Data and information compilation and report writing

What you will bring:

• Graduation from an accredited university with a bachelor or higher degree in civil engineering transportation engineering or other related field of study.
• Strong academic performance and achievements
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
• A record of successful internships or other work history
• Experience or familiarity using traffic analysis software
• Experience or familiarity using Bently and/or AutoCAD design software
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment.
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork ethics
• Enthusiasm for learning and a desire to grow professionally in the field of traffic engineering.
• 2 Years of Traffic Design

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and revise technical drawings for transportation projects.
• Develop roadway drainage and related designs under the supervision of a registered engineer.
• Provide work direction to and collaborate with Engineering Technicians engineers in training and other professional staff
• Create plan sheets and plan sets for construction
• Experience with 3D design preferred

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have an

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar degree from an accredited school.
• 2-5 years of experience in Municipal / Transportation engineering or related field is preferred but not required.
• You will have the ability to prepare read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a strong understanding of design software packages specifically Bentley products (Microstation Open Roads Designer Geopak). Additional experience with Civil 3D is a plus but not required.
• Candidates must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
• Ability to work 40 hours a week.
• Ability to work in Norman OK.
