Job Summary:	The Department of Physiology & Pharmacology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time Associate Professor (HS). The successful candidate will: Lead and perform research in cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmogenesis across cellular species populations and spatial scales. Design and oversee computational modeling of cardiac cells and tissue and electrophysiological experiments on induced pluripotent stem cell derived cardiac myocytes. Develop and submit extramural grant applications for cardiac electrophysiology research. Oversee and mentor graduate students on cardiac electrophysiology research.
Required Qualifications:	PhD in Physiology Biophysics or related field. 10 years of post-PhD experience in cardiac electrophysiology research specializing in computational modeling.

Salary Grade/Rank:
Salary Range:	Commensurate with experience and qualifications
