Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a National Internal Traveler RN you will be a direct clinical registered nurse providing independent patient care within your scope of practice.
Daily you will utilize your advanced patient care skills continuously enhancing your nursing knowledge skills and behaviors through education and involvement beyond basic job requirements.
Success in this role requires exceptional clinical expertise strong adaptability a proactive approach to professional development and a steadfast commitment to independent high-quality patient care in dynamic settings.

- Maintains accountability for own practice delegated care and the coordination of care the unique and complementary abilities of all members of the team to optimize attainment of desired outcomes.
- Collaborates and communicates with the interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient evidence when initiating changes to nursing practice.
- Utilizes current evidence based practice knowledge the nursing process critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals across the life span and care continuum.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in a critical care / intensive care unit.
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and (ACLS) through American Heart Association.
Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility state licenseand other regulatory requirements for local state and federal agencies.
Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
