Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator in our Fort Payne AL Distribution Center. Join our team today!

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm (2nd shift) $19.50/hr PLUS Monthly Incentive Bonus

Responsibilities

As a General Warehouse Associate Equipment Operator you will:

Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Use technology like RF and Voice devices to pick sort scan and prepare orders.
Build wrap sort and transport pallets and packages.
Accurately and timely receive verify stage and stock all incoming material.
Performs general warehouse duties facilitating the flow of goods.
Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean safe and accident-free.
Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies procedures and requirements
Regular and Reliable Attendance
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

0-3 years Warehouse experience in shipping receiving delivery or inventory management is preferred but not required.
Comfortable in a fast paced changing environment.
Positive demeanor dependability and strong work ethic.
High attention to detail.
Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $22.61

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
