Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Delivery Lead to manage the day-to-day delivery of enterprise data and analytics projects for global organisations. This is a hands-on client-facing mid-senior delivery role ideal for experienced project managers who excel in structured delivery stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination.

You will work directly with client managers and senior stakeholders ensuring clarity momentum and outcomes across multi-workstream programmes. Internally you will support and guide our consultants across analytics data engineering and architecture to ensure projects run smoothly and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on consulting delivery role focused on project execution coordination and client communication not an IT support or administrative PMO position. It is ideal for experienced project managers who enjoy structured delivery and client-facing work.

Role Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery Leadership

• Own the delivery of complex data/analytics projects from planning through execution.

• Manage timelines deliverables dependencies and resource plans.

• Run project cadences: stand-ups weekly status meetings planning cycles RAID reviews.

• Ensure deliverables meet scope quality expectations and client requirements.

• Proactively escalate issues risks and blockers before they impact delivery.
  
  

2. Client Engagement & Communication

• Act as the primary delivery point of contact for client managers and stakeholders.

• Prepare and deliver clear structured project updates and executive reporting.

• Build strong working relationships through transparency reliability and trust.

• Understand client needs and ensure alignment between business goals and delivery activities.
  
  

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate consultants across analytics data engineering and architecture.

• Create clarity of priorities and tasks for internal delivery teams.

• Support new team members in ramping up on engagements.

• Foster collaborative high-performance working environments with clients and internal teams.

4. Governance Reporting & Quality Assurance

• Maintain project governance structures including RAID logs delivery KPIs and documentation.

• Drive adherence to delivery standards and ISO 27001-aligned processes.

• Highlight areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

5. Scope Change and Commercial Awareness

• Track scope boundaries and identify change requirements early.

• Support development of change orders and updated delivery plans.

• Collaborate with commercial leads on proposals SOWs and client roadmaps.

6. Delivery Planning Resourcing & Forecasting

• Manage project schedules resource allocations and delivery forecasting across multi-workstream engagements.

• Coordinate internal consultants workloads and ensure the right skills are aligned to the right project phases.

• Work with the commercial and operations teams to support capacity planning budgeting and forward-looking demand forecasts.

• Monitor utilisation and adjust plans proactively to keep delivery on track.

About you:

• 410 years in project delivery roles ideally within consulting technology BI data or digital transformation environments.

• Experience managing complex multi-workstream projects with enterprise clients.

• Familiarity with data analytics BI (e.g. Tableau Power BI Alteryx) or data engineering projects is an advantage.

• Experience using modern delivery and collaboration platforms such as Jira Confluence or similar also an advantage.

• Strong project delivery discipline with excellent organisational and planning skills.

• Confident communicator with the ability to prepare clear client-ready updates and reporting.

• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders while staying hands-on with tactical delivery tasks.

• Able to bring clarity structure and calm to ambiguous or fast-moving project environments.

• Pragmatic detail-oriented and excellent at prioritising effectively under pressure.

• Skilled at leveraging AI and automation tools (e.g. workflow automation AI assistants scheduling optimisation) to work efficiently streamline delivery processes and support the wider team in doing the same.

• A collaborative team player with a consulting mindset and a strong focus on client success.
