About the Role

To work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of individuals recovery journeys from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.

What Youll do:

• Working with individuals
• Delivering 1 2 1 Interventions
• Group Interventions
• Comprehensive assessments
• Working closely with probation & prison leavers for continuity of care

To Succeed in This Role Youll Need:

• Knowledge of harm reduction approaches in relation to substance misuse (where relevant to post)

• The successful candidate will have experience of supporting those in addiction to drugs and alcohol and will be familiar with delivering psychosocial interventions.

• A working knowledge of safeguarding and good communication skills are also essential as well as experience of managing a caseload.

• Understanding of and ability to implement interventions including brief interventions MI PSIs CBT and ITEP
• Carrying out assessment and recovery planning and risk management plans
