At TJS employees are paid across the full work year (260 workdays) but are only required to work a maximum of 211 days.
- 260 - 211 49 scheduled paid days off

Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
The Behavior Analyst / BCBA is responsible for developing monitoring and maintaining behavior analytic programming for an assigned student caseload. This includes assessment design implementation and staff training in all behavior analytic supports. The BCBA collaborates as a member of the interdisciplinary team and supports evidence-based practices throughout student programming. With guidance from the Program Director the BCBA will also participate in the BCBA supervision program and in staff onboarding and training.
Salary
$65000 $85000 per year depending on experience and credentials
Qualifications/ Education
- Bachelors degree (required)
- Masters degree in Special Education or Applied Behavior Analysis (highly preferred)
- BCBA certification and good standing with BACB (highly preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Reliable and mature professional demeanor

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans
- Provide feedback on goals measurement systems interventions and treatment priorities
- Collaborate with Program Director and other specialists to develop intervention strategies
- Oversee implementation of behavior programming with Behavior Technicians
- Conduct regular data analysis and update interventions accordingly
- Perform weekly classroom walk-throughs and collect interobserver agreement (IOA) data
- Attend and conduct behavior skills training for students
- Develop and deliver staff and family trainings as needed
- Supervise staff in BCBA certification programs under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator
- Train staff in physical intervention and safety techniques as designated
- Maintain open communication with families regarding progress and concerns
- Support effective and values-driven communication within the team
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of staff in behavior certification programs
- Oversight of staff implementing behavior analytic programming
- Leadership role in BCBA supervision onboarding and training (under Program Director guidance)
Physical Demands
- Must occasionally lift/move up to 150 lbs
- Must be able to sit walk run climb kneel stoop and crawl
- Required vision: close distance peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment
