Job Title: EEG Technician (Day Shift)

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Schedule: 5 shifts per week 8 hours per shift Every other weekend
Pay Rate: $50 $58/hour (Equivalent: $1875 $2175 weekly)
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician to perform routine electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical abilities accuracy in diagnostic data collection and professionalism when interacting with patients and families. This role follows ASET standards and supports physicians by ensuring high-quality EEG recordings for clinical interpretation.
Qualifications
Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification required.
Minimum 1 year of EEG experience.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Strong computer skills with the ability to manage and interpret digital EEG data.
Excellent communication interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine EEG studies across neonatal pediatric adult and geriatric patient populations following ASET standards.
Prepare patients for procedures including measurements and electrode application.
Acquire enter and format raw EEG data for physician review.
Provide accurate descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns.
Review and edit long-term (24-hour) EEG recordings as needed.
Maintain equipment manage supplies and report malfunctions promptly.
Follow all hospital departmental and safety protocols.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to support efficient patient care.
Communicate professionally with patients and families throughout the testing process.
