Loan Processing Assistant

What youll do:

• Order appraisal of the subject property Tax Transcripts and Condo Documentation (when applicable). Order Verbal Verifications of Employment Written Verifications of Employment Updated Hazard and/or Flood Insurance policies. Following up regularly to make sure the documentation is received.
• Ensure proper verification of credit card charges for any 3rd party orders. Track payment details.
• Review and ensure all documentation required is complete accurate verified and complies with AmeriHome policy and investor requirements.
• Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management.

What youll need:

• High school diploma required.
• Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales operations capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
• Entry level to intermediate working knowledge of Encompass.
• Entry level to intermediate experience with MS Office products.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
